Elizabeth Purnell Secondary teacher Elizabeth Purnell is a secondary teacher and was elected onto the Council in 2008. |

I teach science in a large 11 – 18 comprehensive school in the North West.
I am Divisional Secretary for the NUT. I have a strong commitment to state education. I work to support and implement policies that raise the status of teaching in order to recruit, retain and motivate quality professionals.
