Policy and Research committee

Prior to the 2 June 2010 announcement to bring forward legislation to abolish the GTCE the Policy and Research committee was responsible for developing the overarching policy and research strategy for the Council. More particularly, the committee developed the strategy for formal advice and the research and intelligence base. It organised professional networks and policy services and established policy working groups of members.
