The GTC Networks provide support by linking teachers nationally and putting them in touch with the latest research and evidence. They let teachers have a voice at national debates on changes to education.
Research references on gender and ethnicity from the Equal Opportunities Commission
The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) is a leading agency working to eliminate sex discrimination in Britain. It has a number of valuable resources relating to the areas of gender and ethnicity equality.
The following areas of research can be accessed on the EOC’s website:
- recent references on ethnic minorities which particularly relate to gender
- a briefing on ethnic minority men and women
- key information from the 2001census on ethnic minority men and women.
