Introducing the GTC Networks.

Good teaching needs good networks and good networks need good teachers.

The GTC Networks provide support by linking teachers nationally and putting them in touch with the latest research and evidence. They let teachers have a voice at national debates on changes to education.

Support from the Refugee Council

The Refugee Council is the largest organisation in the UK working with asylum seekers and refugees. It offers practical support and advice for meeting the specific needs of refugee or asylum seeking children and ensuring their integration.

Refugees into Teaching

This is a Refugee Council led project funded by the Training and Development Agency for Schools. It aims to support refugees who were teachers, or who wish to teach. The project helps them to find jobs and/or get QTS, providing specialist advice, courses and work placements. A national refugee teachers' database will also provide an evidence base to inform policy.

For further information visit Refugees into Teaching or telephone 020 7346 1166.
