The role of the middle leader is now recognised as being crucial in securing a focus for the development of learning and teaching throughout the school.
Primary Middle Leaders – Effective Practice in Action provides an up-to-date resource for middle leaders and headteachers in primary schools.
It offers a DVD, a booklet, an interactive website and online community.
The key elements focus on:
- what conditions enable middle leaders to be effective
- how headteachers support them, and
- the impact they have on learning and teaching.
