Good teaching needs good networks and good networks need good teachers.
The GTC Networks provide support by linking teachers nationally and putting them in touch with the latest research and evidence. They let teachers have a voice at national debates on changes to education.
TDA CPD guidance materials
The Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) has produced a series of guidance documents relating to CPD.
The guidance covers:
- defining CPD
- features of effective CPD
- reviewing your school’s policy on CPD
- school self-evaluation of CPD; and
- how to evaluate the impact of CPD.
The definition of effective CPD and the development of the impact evaluation was worked up in partnership with GTC.
