Introducing the GTC Networks.

Good teaching needs good networks and good networks need good teachers.

The GTC Networks provide support by linking teachers nationally and putting them in touch with the latest research and evidence. They let teachers have a voice at national debates on changes to education.

The TDA‘s CPD database

The Teaching and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) is looking for volunteer teachers to help it develop a national database of CPD provision. The database will launch in autumn 2008.

3T Productions, a technology company based in the North West, has been appointed by the TDA to develop the database. The volunteers will help to ensure that it meets the needs of its end users in the education community.

Initially, the TDA is conducting some research to ensure that the database allows users to identify CPD opportunities quickly and easily.  A short online survey has been developed, reviewing the proposed designs.

In addition to this online survey, 3T productions are looking to conduct more in-depth face-to-face sessions shortly, the first on 11 July 2008, near Manchester.  Cover and travel expenses will be paid.  If you would be interested in attending this session, please contact Tom Bradley (tbradley@3T.co.uk) a soon as possible.
