Introducing the GTC Networks.

Good teaching needs good networks and good networks need good teachers.

The GTC Networks provide support by linking teachers nationally and putting them in touch with the latest research and evidence. They let teachers have a voice at national debates on changes to education.


The 'Becoming a Teacher' project

The Becoming a Teacher (BaT) project is a research study of teachers’ experiences of initial teacher training, induction and early professional development. It began in 2003 and is expected to end in 2009.

It is co-funded by the GTC and aims to compare experiences across all the different routes into teaching.
