Good teaching needs good networks and good networks need good teachers.

The GTC Networks provide support by linking teachers nationally and putting them in touch with the latest research and evidence. They let teachers have a voice at national debates on changes to education.

Teachers' TV


Teachers' TV currently has about 47 programmes showing useful videos on classroom management in both primary and secondary settings. The programmes offer support in a variety of areas, including:

  • implementing group work
  • reducing teacher stress with a clearly defined homework system
  • ten best websites for helping with homework
  • expert advice on managing a hectic working day
  • using differentiation in mixed ability classes

Qualifications and Curriculum Authority


The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) provides information on the value of additional staff in the classroom and the importance of communication skills in raising the achievement in all areas of the curriculum.  To access this information visit the QCA website.
