GTC and QCA host Key Stage 3 event

The GTC and the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) are holding a joint seminar for Key Stage 3 subject teachers (02 Jun 2006).

The Government asked the QCA to carry out a review of Key Stage 3 as a result of the 14-19 Education and Skills White Paper. The QCA is now consulting teachers and other stakeholders on the development of the new curriculum and revision of the programmes of study.

This free all day event will provide a series of updates and discussion sessions, and participants will be able to discuss the review in practitioner and subject specific groups.

The seminar takes place on 27 June at the Café Royal, 68 Regent Street, London W1.

The GTC will pay expenses to registered teachers who are currently teaching in schools, for whom the scale is as follows:

If you are a Key Stage 3 teacher and would like to participate in this event please email policyevents@gtce.org.uk.
