Equality and diversity scheme 2007-10: Summary
This leaflet gives a summary of our equality and diversity scheme. The scheme, which covers the GTC’s equality duties relating to race, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age and religion or belief, came into effect on 1 April 2007.
Council Members
Read about the 64 member Council, which governs the GTC and develops and supports relationships beyond the education community. Council members include registered teachers, school governors, and parents, as well as people involved in further and higher education, equal opportunities organisations and local government.
