The findings of a survey of registered teachers carried out in 2009 by the independent research organisation, TNS-BMRB. The survey forms part of the GTC's research on accountability in teaching.

The survey had a specific focus, on policy and practice issues related to elements of the GTC’s programme of work on professionalism in teaching; focusing specifically on the current framework for accountability within teaching and the professional registration requirements placed on teachers.
