Obtaining QTS |
If you wish to apply for full registration with the GTC you will need to complete an Application to Register form and a direct debit instruction. We will then be able to register you and arrange the collection of your annual registration fee.
As we need to have original signatures on the two forms we are unable to accept online applications to register.
When we have processed your application we will send you a confirmation letter and your GTC registration card.
The registration card will contain details of the name we have registered you under and your Teacher Reference (formerly known as DfES) number. If any of the details are incorrect please let us know.
If you wish to de-register from the GTC you can either complete a de-registration form, or contact us by telephone on 0870 001 0308. A teacher may de-register if they are no longer working in a position where registration is a requirement. A teacher will need to remain registered, however, if they intend to work part-time, on temporary contract or on a supply basis.
