On 01 September 2008 a disciplinary order was made against Miss Ellen Baxter, teacher reference number 0462063, taking immediate effect.
Miss Baxter was found guilty of unacceptable professional conduct in that whilst employed as a teacher, she:
i) on 19 December 2005, she brought a quantity of amphetamine (a controlled drug of class B) and four grammes of cannabis (a controlled drug of class C) onto the college premises.
ii) she was convicted of having in her possession on 19 December 2005, Amphetamine, a controlled drug (Class B) and possessing Cannabis, a controlled drug (Class C).
Miss Baxter received a Prohibition Order (reapplication not before two years).
