In accordance with The General Teaching Council for England (Disciplinary Functions) Regulations 2001, notification of forthcoming conduct and competence hearings is given below.
The proceedings are held in Birmingham. All hearings listed will be held at Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B2 4AJ starting at 9:30am, unless stated otherwise.
Members of the profession and the public are welcome to attend GTC hearings but generally there is only seating for up to seven observers per hearing.
All enquiries from members of the press should be made to the Council's Media Officer on 020 7023 3907. If you are a member of the public wishing to attend a hearing, places can be reserved by calling 0870 001 0308.
Please note that hearings are subject to cancellation or postponement at short notice. Those travelling long distances to attend are advised to phone ahead on the day before a hearing, on the number above, so GTC staff can confirm the hearing is still taking place.
