Mr Harjit Lall

An Induction Appeal Committee of the General Teaching Council for England has been convened to consider an appeal by Mr Harjit Lall against the decision of Hampshire County Council that he failed to satisfactorily complete the mandatory induction period for Newly Qualified Teachers.

The proceedings are held in Birmingham. All hearings listed above will be held at Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B2 4AJ starting at 9:30am, unless stated otherwise.

Members of the profession and the public are welcome to attend GTC hearings but generally there is only seating for up to seven observers per hearing.

Please note that hearings are subject to sudden cancellation or postponement.  Those travelling long distances to attend are advised to phone ahead on the day before a hearing, on the number above, so GTC staff can confirm the hearing is still taking place.
