ActionAid competition

Teachers were offered a chance to win their schools a one-day visit by a speaker from international charity ActionAid. We’re awarding two prizes, one for a primary-age teacher and another for secondary teacher.

ActionAid’s team of experienced teachers can help you put topics in a global context by providing vibrant visual material and up-to-date case studies.

Each day-long visit, when the teacher can visit several classes, is focused on the National Curriculum and can be tailored to your specific needs. Topics include the work of ActionAid, climate change, and (for primary schools) life in the Indian village of Chembakolli.
