Review:
A vast array of documents and guidelines are on offer here on various aspects of managing and leading a school, such as devising a discipline policy, or building a school website. The format is a shared community of contacts and web links, plus an impressive online community which opens up professional dialogues between educational experts.

Rather muddled due to the sheer amount of links and subcategories.

Compiled by the DfES, this provides a detailed summary of all the latest CPD initiatives.

Review:
Lots of suggestions here on making the most of professional development opportunities, with sections on mentoring and performance management as well as a good selection of subject-specific CPD materials and resources. The website dedicates a whole section to ‘sharing good practice', and features numerous case studies of excellent teaching practice already underway.
